The AXILO™ Plinth Adjustment System was awarded second place (Kitchen Accessories) at the BMK Innovation Awards, held at the renown Living Kitchen Show in Cologne on 15 January 2019.
The awards are made in only three categories – Kitchen Furniture, Kitchen Appliances and Kitchen Accessories. The awards recognise creative, aesthetically and functionally outstanding product design and product features that are particularly innovative. Products must offer clear innovative added value.
Evaluation is carried out by the German kitchen trade, the BMK Board and a press jury. The kitchen trade is asked in a nationwide survey to vote for which product should receive the innovation award. The vote contributes 40% to the evaluation. In addition, the press jury, which is recruited from specialised and end consumer media, passes judgement, as well as the BMK executive board – each contributing a further 30% to the evaluation.
